So glad that your grandmother was able to with you at your wedding(s). And I hope you do get to be 80 with your hubby! Sweet!

This was quite the adventure. Pretty amazing you could have that ceremony for your grandmother, I'm sure you were all happier for it.

Thank you for sharing Riley's success with me; and for understanding how great the moment is and for sharing a little of Caroline with me:-)

Thank you, too! Caroline shows up frequently in my blog. And I'm absolutely hooked on Riley now. I'm up here in Alabama cheering for your little guy. Every milestone matters.

Yay! Thank you for reading!. I'm still working out my sidebar in WordPress, so I'm glad you could see the link. For me, the sidebar only shows up when I'm on my formal "home" page. It vanishes any time I follow along to one of my actual blog entries.

Such a great story! You have a way of spinning a tale. As I read I looked forward to each word…making this a true joy to read. The part about you guys getting married twice made my heart do flips, so sweet, and that picture of your grandparents, LOVE. Thanks so much for sharing this and welcome to The Lightning and the Lightning Bug; we're so glad to have you!

Oh, I so get your views on wedding dresses! It was my husband who wanted the big white dress lark. We eventually found a shop that let us make an appointment for the evening so both my husband to be and my father were present! Flat shoes all round, much to the bridesmaids' horror and purple, not lavender. And a guy who wouldn't play the music the way we asked, just as well he was a friend doing a favour. Saw so many similarities! 😉

Oh wow! You are the only other person besides me who didn't worship the dress. And the other stuff is downright eerie.
